Deleting Vesometr data

The local database, system copy, exported files and message to the site are located in different places - each has its own action.

1. Before deleting

Determine what exactly needs to be deleted: a single record, the entire local database, the application itself, a previously exported PDF/JSON, or a contact form message. These objects are not associated with a server account, so cleaning one location does not delete copies in another.

If the history may be needed, create a JSON copy in advance and save it in a controlled location. After a complete cleanup, recovery is impossible without such a copy.

2. Android local log

For individual events, use editing or deleting the corresponding entry. For a complete cleanup, open Vesometr settings, select to delete all data, carefully read the warning and confirm the action.

The command clears the local working database of the application. The operator cannot perform this operation remotely: the log is not associated with the server profile and is not sent to vesometr.ru.

3. Uninstall the application

The standard removal of Vesometr using Android tools usually deletes internal application data. System backup behavior may vary by Android manufacturer and account settings, so for an informed cleanup, it is recommended to first perform the built-in hard uninstall, then uninstall the app.

If the device is managed by an organization or uses third-party backup software, check its individual retention policies.

4. PDF and JSON on the device

The exported files are located outside the working database. Find them in the system section “Downloads”, “Documents” or the folder selected when saving and delete them through the file manager. After that, if necessary, empty the file application trash.

JSON can recover the entire saved log, while PDF contains selected sections and profile. Treat both formats as confidential information.

5. Mail, instant messengers, clouds and recipients

A file that the user independently transferred to an external system is not deleted along with Vesometr. Clear sent emails, chats, cloud folders, and local copies on other devices. If someone else has already received the file, ask them to delete their copy.

The Vesometr operator does not have access to such services and cannot delete data instead of its owner.

6. Contact form message

Send your request to info@vesometr.ru from the address specified in the form. Indicate the request number, if saved, the approximate date and request to delete or stop processing. Do not include a magazine, passport or medical documents.

The working period for storing a request is up to 90 days, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing request, legal requirement or protection of rights. After confirming the request, the operator stops processing and deletes the data unless there is another reason.

7. Checking the connection with the request

In order not to delete data at the request of an outsider, the operator checks the sender's address and technical number. If there is insufficient information, minimal clarification may be requested. Confirmation of the result will be sent by email where possible and legal.

8. What does not need to be transferred

To clear the application, you do not need an operator request, password, PIN, biometrics, documents or medical information. To delete a form message, you do not need a backup copy or screenshots of the log. Submit only the minimum that allows you to find a specific request.
